In 2011 Donna founded DCIS 411 and give wellness in 2016.

Originally from New Jersey, Donna moved to Los Angeles with her family at age 12. After graduating from San Diego State University with a BA in Journalism in 1987, Donna had a short stint in magazine advertising sales in Los Angeles before landing her dream job as a Club Med G.O. in 1989. She was a hostess in Ixtapa, MX, a mini club counselor in Copper Mountain and Punta Cana, and an arts and crafts instructor in Paradise Island.

Donna met her husband Glenn (tennis/ snow skiing G.O) at her first village in Ixtapa. After a few years of friendship, a shared vision of writing a book emerged—encouraging young people to take time out as they did and explore unique work abroad opportunities.

Donna and Glenn were married in 1995 and embarked on a two-year honeymoon around the world as part of their book research. They settled in San Diego, California, where they have enjoyed raising their two boys, Skyler and Cody.

Donna is the author of Cheatnotes on Life: Lessons from the Classroom of Life, a quote book for new graduates published in 1994, which has sold over 60,000 copies.

Whatever happened with Donna and Glenn’s original book draft —
When the Travel Bug Bites: Creative Ways to Earn, Save, and Stay Abroad?
It’s still their vision – with hopes of reviving and self-publishing!
