AmiGO Program

As a past G.O, embarking on your next chapter can be exciting, intimidating, and sometimes scary. The AmiGO Mentorship program is a unique bond between former G. O's and provides guidance, love, and support as you transition into your next life phase.

Emergency Support

Our emergency support services are available while transitioning. We provide immediate assistance and care when you need it most. Whether you are experiencing a sudden crisis, navigating a significant life change, or simply require urgent support, our dedicated team is here to offer guidance.

Career Assistance

We work with an employment talent agency that finds great candidates in different fields. They connect qualified people with the right job openings, taking into account their skills and career goals. This partnership helps individuals grow their careers.

AmiGO Program
Our mentorship program connects former G.O's with experienced mentors to guide and support them through personal and professional challenges, ensuring they never feel alone. As a past G.O, embarking on your next chapter can be exciting, intimidating, and sometimes scary. The AmiGO Mentorship program is a unique bond between former G.O's and provides love and support as you transition into your next life phase. For those who left Club Med years ago, we also provide support if you are going through a challenging time by being reconnected to a former G.O. An AmiGO mentor is a volunteer who is required to have worked in a Club Med Village. The Chief People Officer and President carefully selected the mentor, who has attended 4-6 weeks of training. They will compassionately and respectfully guide and partner with a G.O. The work experience you gained as a G.O in a village or at a Club Med office is truly unique. Club Med is renowned for nurturing and training individuals to excel in providing genuine fun and exceptional hospitality to our clients, known as G.M's. Working in a village or office offers the best education in experiencing diverse cultures and fosters an unparalleled spirit of teamwork. Those who work a minimum of one year in a village or office are often highly sought after within the hospitality industry for employment. Club Med has an outstanding reputation for hiring highly talented individuals who provide the best of services that give the Club Med guests a magical week. Fill out the Mentorship form, and you will receive your first call within 48 hours. Your mentor understands that this new journey is private and confidential. This program aims to reconnect past G.O.s who can inspire each other and lead to another lifelong friendship. Food and Housing Allowance
The Food Assistance program was created based on feedback from many past G.O’s who expressed the occasional need for a gift certificate while transitioning between workplaces. The Food Assistance program can provide a $100 Food Allowance gift to any past G.O who qualifies. When making a request, this will remain confidential and will not be made public to whoever has made a request. To qualify for this gift, please get in touch with our President-Angie Boucher Turin and provide the following: Your name, contact information, and address. To your discretion, an introductory message of where you are in your journey as you are changing from one job to the next, in addition to a clear explanation for why you are requesting the Food Allowance gift and why you feel you qualify for this benefit. Confirm that your resume is updated and attach this with your email. Housing Assistance Programs The Housing Assistance program was created to help past G.O’s who have the ‘travel bug’ and want to change countries or cities while looking for employment. The program can provide one week of free housing while you find your next home for past G.Os only. To qualify for this gift, please get in touch with our President-Angie Boucher Turin and provide the following: Your name, contact information, and address. To your discretion, an introductory message of where you are in your journey as you are changing from one job to the next, in addition to a clear explanation of why you are requesting the Housing Allowance gift and why you feel you qualify for this benefit. Confirm that your resume is updated and attach this to your email. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All information you provide, including your request for the Food Allowance or Housing Allowance gift, will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. We understand the sensitive nature of the information you share and assure you that it will not be disclosed to any third party. We rely on global donations to fund these programs. We require the information outlined above to ensure these funds are used for their intended purpose and reach the right individuals. For all past G.O's, Chief of Services, Directors, Managers, and Chiefs of Villages, we have a preferred Employment Talent Agency that scouts for new talent and places qualified candidates into their dream positions. The agency is registered as an MRI network, meaning the company has offices worldwide to help you find your next dream job in multiple countries and cities. We have partnered with Westport One, a Talent Agency with whom we have conducted over 15 interviews, to ensure a high level of service for our past G.O family. To initiate your job search, please get in touch with our president, Angelie Boucher Turin, who will connect you to a Westport One representative. They will personally guide you through the next steps, which may include reviewing your resume, offering resume-building guidance, and even providing resume services at no cost. Once your resume is ready, you will be referred to an agent for the country and city of your choice. The designated Westport One agent will reach out to you within 72 hours. The representative will stay in touch to ensure your journey is well-serviced until your new job is secured.
